On a different front, I managed to hit the open cockpit day at the Castle Air Museum (next to the former Castle AFB, which has b-52s assigned there). It was rather nifty getting to poke your head into several old bombers, cargo planes or fighters. The one I really enjoyed (and took 14 photos of) was a RB-36H; the only one left in world.
