I like most of the C&C games. Red Alert 3 could have used a bit more work though. As to Civilization games, yep. Played Civ I, III and IV.
I've been a fan of Gargoyles since it aired. And did manage to attend 10 of the 13 Gatherings. A fellow fan is the one who got me into writing.
Oh! So do I! I love military strategy games overall and the original C&C was my first. Still the very first C&C game is my all time favorite, but I enjoy almost every kind of C&C game up until the third Red Alert. I agree that it needed more development required especially in quality towards gameplay feel. I hope the forth and final Tiberium-base C&C game will stay true to the storyline leaving in the Scrin alien threat along with that of tiberium, and that the game will be available for all platforms and not just for PC.
As for Civilization, I have played almost all of them, too. All the original ones from number one up to three and both Call To Power sequels. I even have Civilization Revolution, too.
Ah, nothing like building and managing both your armies and your empires.
And so have I with Gargoyles, too. Been a fan from the start of the show on TV back in 1994. Never missed an episode! Sadly, though, I never got to go to a Gathering convention.
